* Happy Endings 5

These are the three surviving puppies that were "dumped" on the side of a road, approx. 14 weeks old. The first puppy looks like she may be part border collie mix, the second puppy, he looks to be beagle mix and the third puppy looks like she is a black lab mix. Their momma sure did get around! There were two other puppies in this litter but they were hit and killed by passing car late at night before they could have been rescued. More on these puppies soon. There is another young male dog that is now at the Ark of Hope Rescue, his name is "Scrappy." (no picture yet) One neighbor took him from another neighbor when they were going to shot him! They didn't want him anymore and would not pay to have him put to sleep. It would have been cheeper just to shoot this adorable dog!!! He is almost the same color as Paige (below) and has just been neutered. He's almost 1 year old

Update - Jan. 15th: We are having problems getting pictures to load onto our web site. As soon as we get it corrected, new pictures will be posted.

Update - Jan.24th: The three puppies; Paige, Allen and Marie are doing wonderfully. They sure do not look like the pictures below any more! They have gained weight and look like perfect puppies now! The vet thinks that they are almost ready to be adopted!

Update - February 15th: Paige and Marie have been adopted!!! Yea!!! A little boy (Tommy Lee) picked one (Paige) and his dad picked Marie. They couldn't persuade each other of their pick so they decided on both! Sweet little Allen still needs to find a home...
