Kitties need love too! Inky, Midnight and Velvet have been adopted!!!

 

This is "Inky" the kitty! She is a small female, mostly black with a little white. She was brought to the Ark of Hope Rescue by a nice lady who is very concerned about all of the abandoned cats in our county!! She has helped a lot of cats on her own but wasn't able to take in another cat at this time. So the Ark of Hope has offered to help with "Inky."  Sweet little Inky is a wonderful, lovable kitty who is looking for a family of her own. When Inky came to The Ark of Hope she was Very Pragnant! A week after she arrive here she had 6 beautifull kittens, April 13th. All of the kitties have been adopted but one, Midnight. He looks identical to his mom!

We also have Velvet Kitty, she was a stray that has been through a lot in her tender 8 months. She was found at the County Fairgrounds by a lady that stopped three teenaged boys from kicking her around. They kicked out her top and bottom front teeth!!! Thank God that they were her kitten teeth for her adult teeth came in beautifully!! Can you imagine not being wanted and being thrown away, kicked and beaten...help me find Velvet, Inky and Midnight families that will love them forever!

Please understand that taking care of Inky, Midnight and Velvet has been a large expense for the Ark. Inky and Velvet have been spayed and Midnight has been neutered. All three are up to date on all of their vaccinations and have been wormed. All of this has cost appox. four hundred dollars. The Ark of Hope whas taken care of this but the only way we can continue this rescue is by folks like you sending in donations. Donations can be made in memory of someone or in honor of someone, 2 legged or four! You can send a donation with a note, "To help Inky" or one of the other animals that are being helped here at the Ark until they are ready to be adopted. You can also send a donation in memory of a loved one, either a pet or a family memebr or friend! We need your help, our funds are running very low. "Inky" the mommy kitty

Inky is a very sweet cat, who in the near future will be needing a family to take her into their lives so she can make them happy. She is litter box trained, very neat and clean. She has taught her kittens the proper use of the litter box. She has been a terrific mommy!

"Dameon and Midnight"

Dameon the kitty on the left is ALL black and Midnight, on the right looks exactly like it's mother! These little kittens were born on Friday, April 13th! UPDATE: DAMEON and midnight HAVE BOTH BEEN ADOPTED!!!

On Friday, April 13th, Inky gave birth to these beautiful 6 kittens!! She was only a kitten herself, appox. 7 months old and already a mother! UPDATE; INKY WAS SPAYED ON JUNE 12TH. She is now ready and very willing to have a loving family come and adopt her! YEAH, INKY HAS A HOME, AND BETTER YET THE MAN WHO CHOOSE INKY ALSO TOOK HER SON, MIDNIGHT!!! THEY WILL BE TOGETHER FOREVER, YEAH!!!

"Casper"

Ghost the kitten on the left is white with a little grey highlights. Spirit is the kitten on the right, he/she? is white with grey highlights and a "dirty" face! Both kittens are adorable. UPDATE; GHOST AND SPIRIT HAVE BOTH BEEN ADOPTED!!!

Casper the calico kitten is an adorable, playful feline. UPDATE; CASPER HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!!

This is beautiful black Velvet Kitty!

"Phantom"

This little grey kitten, Phantom is a sweet as they come! The camera nearly scared it to death! He really wants a loving family soon! UPDATE; PHANTON HAS BEEN ADOPTED, YEAH!!!

Velvet Kitty is gorgous! Solid black, super soft, and so very friendly. She is appox. 8 months old still very much a kitten. Velvet would like nothing else but to crawl up into your lap and watch a couple of "Nine Lives" commercials with you. By the way...she has been spayed, we don't want anymore unwanted kitties! Don't you know anyone that has been looking for a pur-fect kitty. Call them and tell them that you found her for them! She's waiting!!! UPDATE: Woohoo!! Velvet has been adopted! She now live in Frostburg, MD. Her new mom and dad are real cats lovers! SHe will have a wonderful life-long home that any cat would meow over!!! Yeah, for Velvet!
